Finnish operator orders CL604 duo
Finland's Jetflite has placed an order for two brand-new Challenger 604s. The aircraft, which replace the company's Falcon 20F-5s, are scheduled for delivery in October and December.

Finland's Jetflite has placed an order for two brand-new Challenger 604s. The aircraft, which replace the company's Falcon 20F-5s, are scheduled for delivery in October and December.

A spokesman for the Helsinki-based firm commented: "Jetflite has operated a Challenger 604 since 2001 with great success. The new aircraft will enhance effectiveness, flexibility, capacity and performance for the fleet.

"With a high speed cruise of Mach 0.82 and a 4,000nm range, the CL604 business jet boasts exceptional mission capabilities, speeding our passengers across continents with unequalled ease and efficiency."

Jetflite's aircraft will feature flexible seating configurations for 12, 14 or 18 passengers.

The company is hoping that the acquisition of the new Challengers will enable it to build on experience with the aircraft type and broaden its appeal in emerging business aviation markets.

"With our long experience in [operating] business flights in Russia and central Asia, our company foresees substantially increasing demand in business and ambulance flight services in this market area."
