myairops introduces a connected passenger portal
Unlike a standalone booking interface, the portal operates as an extension of myairops flight, allowing operators to connect incoming demand with the broader scheduling and operational environment rather than having a separate request process.

myairops is launching a portal product that is fully integrated with its flight platform, designed to give passengers, executive assistants, aircraft owners and other authorised requesters a clearer way to engage with their flight department and obtain information.

The portal addresses a longstanding disconnect in business aviation operations. While scheduling platforms help flight departments manage aircraft, crew, compliance and trip delivery, the initial request often arrives through separate forms, messages, emails or standalone systems. This can leave operations teams manually transferring information before they can begin managing the trip.

The myairops portal brings these stages into a connected workflow. Trip demand enters the environment used by the flight department to manage its operation, reducing disconnected handoffs and helping teams establish a clearer process from the initial request onward.

“Business aviation software has traditionally focused on the schedulers, dispatchers, crew and operations teams responsible for delivering a flight,” says president Tim Ford. “But the operational process begins before a trip reaches the schedule. Our portal is designed to connect the people requesting travel with the flight department managing it, without creating another isolated system or manual workflow.

“Too many times I am told by CEOs, owners and business leaders that their experience with apps on commercial airlines often outstrip the power that is placed in their hands by business aviation users. I agree with their viewpoint, and at myairops we are rethinking the problem from the ground up and giving business aviation users the experience they deserve.”

The portal also reflects changing expectations among business aviation passengers. Commercial travel has made accessible, digital trip experiences familiar, but business aviation departments must deliver that convenience within a far more specialised operational environment with far less access to resources and technical capabilities.

By extending myairops flight to the people interacting with the flight department, the portal helps operators offer a clearer experience while retaining control of the workflows behind each trip. All the time keeping the portal and the scheduling platform completely in sync.

The capability is being introduced through a phased delivery model. Initial customers are already using the portal for specific operating requirements, with further capabilities being released in increments and informed by customer feedback. This represents the first generally available release of the capability.
