Textron Aviation has received CASA Part 145 approval for its Australian maintenance organisation. The approval applies across its service centre network in Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast, establishing one of the most comprehensive OEM-owned support footprints in Australia.

CASA Part 145 approval recognises that Textron Aviation’s maintenance organisation has the systems, personnel, processes and oversight required to perform and certify aircraft maintenance in accordance with Australia’s rigorous aviation standards.

The approval provides customers with confidence that maintenance is performed within a CASA-approved system while supporting consistent quality, compliance and technical expertise across all three company-owned service centres strategically located across Australia.

With more than 1,400 Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft operating in Australia, the approval further strengthens Textron’s ability to support customers through local expertise backed by the resources of one of the industry’s largest service networks, providing access to CASA-approved maintenance, modifications, overhaul services and AOG support closer to where they operate, helping reduce downtime and keep aircraft flying.
