Jet 1 Charter remains Wingman certified
The globally recognised Wyvern Wingman standard provides a safety benchmark that allows customers to assess an operator's performance against the industry's highest standard when choosing charter services.
Jet 1 is a light jet specialist.

Jet 1 Charter has reaffirmed its Wyvern Wingman Certified Operator status, reflecting a sustained commitment to elevated standards of operational safety and discipline. This designation is maintained through ongoing participation in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program, supplemented by structured quarterly coaching designed to support continuous improvement and reinforce best practices across flight operations.

Headquartered in Naples, Florida, and active since 1983, Jet 1 Charter offers a full range of aviation services, including on-demand aircraft charter, aircraft management, and aircraft acquisition and sales.

“We at Jet 1 Charter are proud to be recognised for achieving Wyvern Wingman certification through our commitment to providing world-class flight operations,” shares Keaton Phillips, president, Jet 1 Charter. “Achieving this level of recognition is a testament to our entire team's dedication to safe operations and providing the highest level of service to our customers. Safety is a foundational principle at Jet 1 Charter, and our partnership with Wyvern serves as a direct demonstration of that value to our customers.”

The globally recognised Wyvern Wingman standard provides a safety benchmark that allows customers to assess an operator's safety performance against the industry's highest standard when selecting charter services. The scope of the evaluation includes a review and assessment of the organisation's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture analysis, risk management policies, procedures and practices, emergency response plans and training programmes. Through the Wyvern Flight Leader Program, participating operators also receive complimentary access to Wyvern's integrated SMS software, which includes capabilities such as ASAP reporting, FOQA integration, CASS tracking, FRAT, FRMS and other data-driven tools designed to strengthen proactive risk identification and operational oversight.

As part of the Wingman commitment, operators share detailed safety management system and emergency response plan information directly with Wyvern, demonstrating a proactive willingness to provide insight into their safety framework, risk controls and response capabilities. By voluntarily opening their programmes to independent review, Wingman operators affirm their dedication to accountability and continuous improvement. Additionally, Wingman members, including Jet 1 Charter, are eligible for a complimentary annual safety culture analysis, a comprehensive SMS evaluation and participation in Wyvern's world-class safety leader training course, further reinforcing their commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.

“Maintaining the highest levels of safety requires dedication at every level of an organisation, and Jet 1 Charter continues to exemplify that commitment,” says Andrew Day, COO of Wyvern. “Its renewed Wyvern Wingman certification reflects an organisation that prioritises accountability, continuous evaluation and excellence in every aspect of its operations.”
