Rotortrade has completed its 30th Super Puma transaction over the past decade, with the majority of the deals involving the H225 platform. The pre-owned helicopter dealership has supported operators, governments, leasing companies and financial institutions across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas throughout the period.
The company's work spans the full Super Puma lifecycle beyond aircraft trading, including return-to-service programmes, heavy maintenance coordination, aircraft repossessions, long-term storage, mission conversion and management, technical upgrades, complex retrofits and worldwide deliveries. Working with Airbus and MRO partners, Rotortrade has supported projects including return-to-service work following the H225 fleet grounding, humanitarian aircraft for the World Food Programme, VIP and government aircraft, firefighting platforms in Europe and Asia, EMS and hoist conversions, multi-mission conversion and management programmes across Africa, and repossession, storage and asset management work for financial institutions.
Aurelien Blanc, Rotortrade EVP head of region APAC, MEA and Africa, says: “From the very beginning, we have believed in the Super Puma family, and particularly the H225. We continue to believe it is the world's leading commercially successful heavy multi-mission helicopter, combining exceptional versatility, payload, reliability and long-term value. Reaching 30 Super Puma transactions reflects not only our confidence in the platform, but also the trust that operators, governments, leasing companies and financial institutions around the world place in Rotortrade to deliver some of the industry's most complex projects.”
As demand for heavy multi-mission helicopters continues to grow across commercial, government and humanitarian sectors, Rotortrade aims to deliver tailored acquisition, trading and asset management solutions that maximise aircraft availability, operational capability and long-term asset value.
