Revesco Aviation at Perth Airport (YPPH) and Machjet International at Sunshine Coast Airport (YBSU) have joined the Air Elite by World Fuel network, taking the total number of member locations in Australia to four out of 78 worldwide.
Revesco operates at Perth Airport, Western Australia's primary international gateway, around 12 kilometres from the Perth central business district. The facility includes a dedicated FBO, passenger lounge, hangar access, aircraft ground support and airside passenger pick-up and drop-off. As a designated Point of Entry, Revesco coordinates customs, immigration, quarantine and Off Terminal Clearance services for international arrivals into Western Australia.
Peter Hillier, chief executive of Revesco, says: “Western Australia continues to see demand from operators supporting business, resources, government and leisure travel. We look forward to working with Air Elite members and providing the local knowledge and on-the-ground support needed for successful operations into Perth.”
Machjet operates at Sunshine Coast Airport, offering the operational advantages of a regional airport, including reduced congestion, streamlined ground handling and greater scheduling flexibility than larger metropolitan airports. The facility includes a VIP FBO, passenger and crew lounges, secure hangarage, parking for up to Code C aircraft, direct tarmac access and 24-hour operational support.
The company recently completed a multi-million-dollar FBO and hangar facility at the airport and is due to add two aircraft to its fleet in the coming weeks. Machjet has more than 40 years of aviation heritage through the McDermott Aviation Group and operates from bases on the Sunshine Coast and in Cairns, covering private charter, FBO services, aircraft handling, aeromedical retrieval and cargo across Australia, Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.
Simon McDermott, managing director of Machjet, adds: “Joining Air Elite connects our local operation with a global network while allowing us to continue doing what we do best: supporting operators flying into Queensland and beyond.”
Malcolm Hawkins, senior vice president, global business aviation at World Fuel, says: “Australia continues to be an important market for business aviation, serving as both a destination and a strategic connecting point for operators moving throughout the Asia-Pacific region.” Air Elite membership is by invitation and requires independently owned FBOs to be audited against set standards for customer service, operational performance, safety and facility quality. Members at both locations gain access to World Fuel's Contract Fuel, AVCARD, Trip Support and Rewards programmes.
