The MD 530F is recognised for its hot-and-high performance, small footprint, reliability and versatility, making it well-suited for demanding missions across Africa and other challenging operating environments.
The MD 530F is a rugged performer.

An undisclosed operator in Zimbabwe has taken delivery of a new MD 530F helicopter, the first of its type to be delivered in the country.

The aircraft was accepted at MD Helicopters' manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona, before being prepared for international shipment and delivery to a wildlife conservation agency in Southern Africa. MD Helicopters is providing a complete turnkey delivery solution, including aircraft preparation, export coordination, logistics management and delivery support.

The MD 530F is recognised worldwide for its exceptional hot-and-high performance, small footprint, reliability and versatility, making it well-suited for demanding missions across Africa and other challenging operating environments.

“This delivery represents more than just the sale of a helicopter. It demonstrates our commitment to supporting operators wherever they operate around the world,” says Ryan Weeks, president and chief executive officer of MD Helicopters. “From manufacturing and customisation to logistics, delivery and long-term support, MD Helicopters is dedicated to providing turnkey solutions that help our customers succeed.”
