A new customs facility at Fulton County Executive airport in Georgia will make it easier and more secure for international flights to land at the airport. Officials broke ground on the facility on 9 July. Fulton County has received $2.8 million in federal and state funding for the project.

Customs agents currently travel from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport to process inbound international flights. The new facility will provide on-site customs processing for business aviation arrivals.

Fulton County Executive airport recorded more than 80,000 flight operations in 2025, making it the third-busiest airport in Georgia. It has a 24-hour control tower, is served by FBOs Hill Aircraft and Signature Aviation, and is the base for more than 100 aircraft.

More than half of the aircraft based at Fulton County Executive airport are business jets. The airport serves as a corporate aviation hub for the Atlanta metropolitan region, supporting executives and companies travelling across the region and internationally.

The customs facility forms part of a wider expansion plan for the airport, which will also include additional hangars. Fulton County has also invested in safety improvements, including new taxiway lighting, an aircraft rescue and firefighting facility and runway engineered material arresting systems.
