Tecnam selects Oriens as dedicated dealer for Netherlands
Since its appointment in 2021, Oriens Aviation has been a powerful partner for Tecnam. Its dedication to premium customer support and its deep understanding of the aircraft portfolio have made it an asset.
The Oriens team attended AERO Friedrichshafen earlier this year.

Tecnam is expanding its partnership with Oriens Aviation. Building upon a highly successful relationship established in 2021 when Oriens became the authorised sales and service centre for the British Isles, the company is now establishing a dedicated subsidiary to serve as the exclusive Tecnam dealer for the Netherlands.

Oriens Aviation has demonstrated a commitment to the Tecnam brand over the past five years. Its proven track record of delivering world-class customer service, expert maintenance and comprehensive aircraft management has driven significant growth for Tecnam across the UK and Ireland. By setting up a new, locally based subsidiary company in the Netherlands, Oriens is ensuring that Dutch operators receive the same highly responsive, localised support that has made them so successful in the British Isles.

The Netherlands represents a dynamic and forward-looking aviation market with a strong demand for modern, efficient and environmentally conscious aircraft. Through this new subsidiary, Oriens Aviation will offer Dutch customers access to Tecnam's single and twin-engine piston aircraft, focusing heavily on two primary market avenues: professional flight training – providing academies with modern, integrated fleets, ranging from the single-engine P2008JC NG to the revolutionary P-Mentor IFR trainer and the multi-engine P2006T; and private ownership – bringing bespoke Italian craftsmanship and automotive-style elegance to private pilots with the highly sought-after Gran Lusso and Sport lines.

By establishing a physical foothold in the region, Oriens Aviation ensures that Dutch flight schools and private owners will benefit from a seamless ownership experience, supported by an organisation that deeply understands the operational and economic advantages of the Tecnam fleet.

“Since its appointment in 2021, Oriens Aviation has been a phenomenal partner for Tecnam. Its dedication to premium customer support and its deep understanding of our modern aircraft portfolio have made it an invaluable asset to our network,” shares Walter Da Costa, chief sales officer at Tecnam. “The Netherlands is a crucial market for us, and by opening a dedicated subsidiary there, we are confident that Oriens will deliver the exact same level of excellence and passion to Dutch operators as it has in the UK and Ireland.”

“We are incredibly honoured to expand our representation of Tecnam into the Netherlands,” adds Edwin Brenninkmeyer, CEO of Oriens Aviation. “Over the last five years, we have seen firsthand how Tecnam's innovative, fuel-efficient and beautifully designed aircraft transform flight schools and private operations alike. Establishing a subsidiary in the Netherlands allows us to bring our full-service approach directly to the local market, empowering operators to upgrade to the most modern fleet in general aviation.”

As well as serving as the authorised centre for Tecnam since 2021, Oriens Aviation is also the Pilatus PC-12 and the PC-24 sales and service centre for the British Isles. The company is based at London Biggin Hill airport and offers a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul services to private aircraft owners and operators, together with aircraft sales, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, warranty work, aircraft management, AOC operations including aircraft charter services, pilot training, comprehensive aircraft ownership support and handling. It holds EASA Part 145 approval, alongside its national UK CAA 145 and FAA repair station approvals.
