DA62 number two joins the fleet of Italian Remote Sensing
With its spacious cabin, flexible sensor integration capabilities and fuel efficiency, the DA62 MPP SurveyStar continues to gain traction among operators seeking high-performance and eco-conscious survey platforms.
This latest delivery further strengthens the footprint of the DA62 MPP SurveyStar across Europe's aerial survey industry.

Italian Remote Sensing (IRS) has taken delivery of a second DA62 from Diamond Aircraft, marking another milestone in the successful partnership between the two organisations.

Italian Remote Sensing placed the order for the second multi-purpose platform aircraft shortly after commencing operations with its first DA62 MPP. The rapid follow-on purchase underscores the aircraft's strong performance, efficiency and suitability for advanced aerial survey missions.

The DA62 MPP SurveyStar is specifically designed for modern aerial data acquisition, offering exceptional endurance, low operating costs and reduced environmental impact. Its fuel-efficient Austro Engine AE330 engines and low emissions profile make it one of the most environmentally friendly aircraft in its class, an increasingly important factor in European aerial survey operations.

This latest delivery further strengthens the footprint of the DA62 MPP SurveyStar across Europe's aerial survey industry, where demand continues to rise for sustainable and cost-effective platforms capable of supporting high-precision missions.

“We are delighted to see Italian Remote Sensing expanding its fleet with a second DA62 MPP SurveyStar so quickly after introducing the first aircraft into service,” says Mario Spiegel, head of sales at Diamond Aircraft. “This decision highlights the aircraft's outstanding operational efficiency, reliability and environmental credentials. The DA62 MPP continues to set new standards for modern aerial survey operations around the world.”

Italian Remote Sensing has been leveraging the DA62 MPP platform for a variety of missions, including environmental monitoring, mapping and geospatial data collection. The addition of the second aircraft will significantly enhance operational capacity and flexibility.

“Our experience with the first DA62 MPP has been extremely positive from day one,” comments Luca Rampa, managing director of Italian Remote Sensing. “The aircraft's performance, efficiency and mission capabilities exceeded our expectations, making the decision to acquire a second unit a natural step. This investment allows us to meet growing demand while maintaining our commitment to sustainable aerial survey solutions.”

With its spacious cabin, flexible sensor integration capabilities and industry-leading fuel efficiency, the DA62 MPP SurveyStar continues to gain traction among operators seeking high-performance and eco-conscious aerial survey platforms.

Diamond Aircraft remains committed to supporting customers worldwide with innovative, reliable and sustainable aviation solutions.
