PhotoMap has signed a contract for a Diamond Aircraft DA62 MPP SurveyStar, adding the aircraft to its fleet to support aerial survey operations through subsidiary AeriMap. The contract was signed at Diamond Aircraft's stand during INTERGEO 2026 in Munich, one of the world's leading trade fairs for geodesy, geoinformation and land management.

The DA62 MPP SurveyStar combines Diamond's DA62 platform with a dedicated mission system architecture built for airborne mapping and surveying work. Diamond cites low operating costs, fuel efficiency, long endurance and sensor integration flexibility as key features of the platform, factors that PhotoMap has identified as central to its selection.
