Avflight Corporation, a North American network of full-service FBOs, has moved into a brand-new terminal at Mississippi's Hattiesburg/Laurel Regional airport.

The move marks an exciting milestone for Avflight Hattiesburg, which joined the airfield in 2024 as the company's 25th location. Construction of the terminal was funded through an FAA airport infrastructure grant and took approximately 18 months to complete.

“This new terminal represents a significant investment in the Hattiesburg community,” says Garrett Hain, vice president of finance for Avflight. “Thanks to Hattiesburg/Laurel Regional, Avflight is proud to operate within this exceptional new facility, delivering the elevated service and seamless experience our guests have come to expect.”

Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, the 5,300 sq ft terminal delivers an elevated experience for passengers and crew alike. The facility features a welcoming lobby, a conference room (with seating for six and full A/V) and tailored concierge support.

The dedicated pilot lounge offers plush recliners, a large-screen television, a flight planning area with desks, bistro-style seating and a private snooze room, providing a comfortable space for both rest and productivity between flights.

In addition to the new terminal, guests at Avflight Hattiesburg have access to eight 10,000 sq ft hangars, several of which feature 27-ft door openings capable of accommodating aircraft up to the size of a Gulfstream G550. The airfield also offers 10 additional hangars and 20 covered pull-throughs for both based and transient aircraft.

Avflight also recently made a significant investment in the airfield with the addition of a new fuel storage system. The system can house up to 24,000 gallons of jet fuel, 10,000 gallons of avgas, 550 gallons of diesel and 550 gallons of unleaded automotive fuel. It was built with modern quality control features, including an electronic tank monitoring system, electronic overfill protection and a multi-pump system for added redundancy, eliminating the potential for downtime.

The new facility, along with the fuel storage system, allows Avflight to further its commitment to elevating the guest experience while meeting the company's high brand and operational standards.

As an Avfuel-branded network location, Avflight Hattiesburg provides customers with lucrative rewards with AVTRIP and competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel. Customers also benefit from transaction ease when using the Avfuel Pro Card at its FBO with the ability to put everything, including fuel and non-fuel items with or without a fuel purchase, on one transaction, avoiding processing fees.
