Aviation flooring brings metallic wood aesthetic to cabins
Lonsky Metalluxe combines wood grain visuals with metallic undertones in FAA-compliant aircraft interior flooring.
Lonsky Metalluxe blends the organic character of natural wood grain with subtle metallic undertones.

Lonseal has launched Lonsky Metalluxe, a reinterpretation of wood flooring developed to meet FAA requirements for aircraft interiors. The flooring collection preserves the organic character of natural wood grain while incorporating metallic undertones intended to create visual depth and refined light interaction for modern aircraft interiors.

The flooring is engineered to minimise aircraft interior weight while maintaining resistance to wear in high-traffic cabin areas. A factory-applied Topseal urethane finish is designed to enhance durability while simplifying cleaning and maintenance.

Lonseal says the product is phthalate-free, EU REACH compliant and SVHC-free, while GreenAir technology supports low VOC emissions for cabin environments. Lonsky Metalluxe also meets FAA flammability and slip-resistance requirements, alongside FMVSS 302 standards, making it suitable for commercial airliners, business jets, private aircraft and helicopters.

Available in four colourways – Steel Glint, Iron Veil, Bronze Ember and Champagne Alloy – the flooring combines natural wood visuals with metallic detailing for a contemporary aircraft cabin aesthetic.
