Tecnam forms European aviation training alliance with Cenfortec
Tecnam has formed a strategic partnership with Europe's largest aircraft maintenance technical school Cenfortec, to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical aerospace skills for students.

A new partnership between Tecnam and Cenfortec, Europe's largest aircraft maintenance technician school, aims to strengthen the link between aviation education and the modern labour market, with a focus on practical skills and employability.

Established in Portugal in 2011, Cenfortec trains more than 300 students and has built a reputation for technical excellence. Through a partnership with an OEM such as Tecnam, the school will give students unprecedented access to the aviation industry, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and the practical demands of the aerospace sector.

The alliance expands internship opportunities, promoting the acquisition of hands-on experience and the development of essential skills for students’ future careers. It also contributes to the ongoing development of Cenfortec’s training programmes, supporting its emphasis on educational quality and graduate employability.

“Together we can create the invisible heroes of aviation,” says Cenfortec CEO Andre Garcia. “This partnership with Tecnam is a tremendous milestone that will give our students the real-world OEM exposure they need to excel in their careers and keep the global fleet flying safely.”

“At Tecnam, we know that the safety and efficiency of our aircraft rely heavily on the expertise of the technicians on the ground,” says Walter Da Costa, chief sales officer at Tecnam. “We are thrilled to partner with Europe's largest maintenance training facility to help nurture the next generation of highly skilled aviation professionals.”
