X-1 expands platform by taking on HangarIT and FBO Partners
The addition of FBO Partners expands X-1's advisory capabilities, bringing expertise in transaction support, operational strategy and market insight across the FBO and airport ecosystem.

X-1, a provider of operational and infrastructure technology for the aviation industry, has acquired HangarIT and FBO Partners, further expanding its platform across aviation operations, infrastructure and real estate.

The addition of HangarIT strengthens X-1's capabilities in aviation real estate and infrastructure data, extending the platform beyond day-to-day operations into the planning, development and management of aviation facilities. As part of this transition, HangarIT will evolve into X-1 Property, a purpose-built solution for managing aviation real estate, hangars and infrastructure within the broader X-1 platform.

The addition of FBO Partners expands X-1's advisory capabilities, bringing expertise in transaction support, operational strategy and market insight across the FBO and airport ecosystem. This enhances the platform's ability to connect operational data with real-world activity across the network.

X-1 is also collaborating with Business Aviation Group on strategic initiatives that align transaction advisory, development and data capabilities with the broader X-1 platform.

Business Aviation Group brings deep expertise in aviation real estate advisory and development, along with Aviation Property Network (APN), a marketplace and data layer for aviation real estate. APN provides visibility into available properties, development opportunities and transaction activity, and is expected to play a role in the broader X-1 Property strategy.

As aircraft continue to grow in size and capability, aviation infrastructure is under increasing pressure. Airports and operators are facing constrained space, evolving tenant demands and a growing need for better data and decision-making tools. X-1 is building a platform designed to address these challenges by connecting operational workflows with infrastructure and real estate intelligence.

This approach connects X-1FBO operational workflows, X-1 Property for aviation real estate management and APN as a marketplace and data layer, creating a more unified ecosystem across aviation operations, infrastructure and real estate.

HangarIT and FBO Partners extend the X-1 platform into a critical part of the aviation ecosystem that has historically operated in silos,” says Jim Wiley, CEO of X-1. “By bringing together operations, data and real estate insight, we're laying the groundwork for a more connected and efficient aviation environment.”
