Alto Aviation updates Cadence with retrofit touchscreen panels
An expanded touchscreen and metal panel offering gives operators a straightforward way to replace ageing cabin controls and modernise aircraft interiors.
Designed for retrofit, the system integrates into existing cabin management and entertainment architectures without major redesign.

Alto Aviation has expanded its Cadence cabin management system portfolio with a new generation of touchscreen panels and M3 metal panels designed for aftermarket aircraft upgrades.

The touchscreens provide a modern replacement for ageing cabin control systems, allowing operators to manage lighting, IFE, power, galley appliances, attendant call, shades, climate and system settings through a single interface.

Designed for integration into existing cabin management and entertainment systems, the solution supports retrofit and refurbishment programmes across a broad range of business jets, turboprops and VIP aircraft.

Panels are available in 3.5-inch and 4.3-inch formats, alongside a 10.1-inch galley touchscreen monitor. With a customisable interface and power over ethernet, they can be installed across multiple cabin locations including armrests, side ledges, bulkheads and divans.

The M3 metal panels can be deployed independently or paired with the touchscreen units, offering a durable control option with minimalistic icons designed to resist wear.

Scott Sweet, VP of sales at Heads Up Technologies, says: “This launch is a milestone for us. We listened closely to our customers, and what they wanted was simple: modern controls that look beautiful, feel great to use and integrate easily into older aircraft. Our new touchscreen panels and M3 metal panels do exactly that. They bring today’s cabin experience to yesterday’s aircraft, and we’re genuinely excited to put this technology into the hands of operators, completion centres and owners who deserve solutions that elevate every flight.”
