Universal Aviation has unveiled a new global brand, Affinity Aviation, after more than 65 years of business aviation experience. The Evans family will continue to own and lead the company, with its focus on more personalised customer care, continued advancement of safety and service standards, stronger global coordination, and expansion and improvement of general aviation infrastructure in markets around the world.
The network spans more than 75 locations across more than 20 countries. In Saudi Arabia, Affinity recently began operations at the new general aviation terminal/FBO in Dammam, the first of three flagship operations in the Kingdom. Jeddah will follow with an approximately 108,000-square-foot private aviation hangar and full-service ground handling operation, while Riyadh will add a dedicated private aviation lounge and ground handling operation. A centralised Saudi Arabia operational control centre will provide coordinated support across the Kingdom.
In Spain, construction is under way on an approximately 53,800-square-foot hangar at Madrid-Barajas Airport, which will become Spain's first dedicated general aviation hangar facility and accommodate aircraft up to BBJ size.
In Mexico, the company worked with local partners to develop and open a major new FBO and hangar complex in Guadalajara ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a 362,000-square-foot facility, including a 51,700-square-foot general aviation hangar, significantly expanding business aviation infrastructure and aircraft basing capabilities at Guadalajara International Airport.
Additional investment is taking place throughout the network, including facility upgrades in Milan and Paris; renewed investment in people and lounge facilities at the company's longstanding Venezuela operation as international demand returns; and recent expansion in the Dominican Republic, including its newest FBO in Samaná.
"Affinity represents where we are taking this business next," says Greg Evans, managing principal, Evans Family Office. "We are building on everything that has made this company successful while pushing ourselves to keep getting better. That means continuing to raise the bar on safety and customer experience, investing in our people and operations, strengthening the locations we already serve, developing new capabilities and expanding general aviation infrastructure where our customers need it. We want to be where business aviation is going next and help shape the standard operators should expect when they get there. At its core, Affinity is about the genuine, personal care we have always had for our customers and their missions. The same people and relationships our customers know are behind the brand, but Affinity reflects our ambition to build on that foundation and continue leading our segment of the industry for decades to come."
Affinity is continuing to strengthen the people, technology, safety systems, operational capabilities and service standards behind its network, improving how teams connect and work together while preserving the local knowledge and personal relationships customers value.
The objective is straightforward: combine disciplined, safety-focused operations with a more seamless, personalised and high-touch experience wherever customers meet Affinity.
The Affinity Aviation brand was developed through a process led by Sarah Evans, principal, Evans Family Office, with input from leaders and employees across the organisation. "We started by listening, to our customers, our people and the market, and thinking carefully about what we wanted this company to stand for in the future," she says. "Affinity came from the idea that exceptional ground support is personal. It starts with understanding the mission, knowing what matters to the customer and bringing the right people together to make everything work. We wanted to create a brand that feels true to the company people already know, but also sets a clear expectation for where we are going; more connected, more personal and always looking for ways to make the experience better."
The new brand mark combines an aircraft representing the customer's journey with a supporting hand representing the people, personal care and expertise behind every mission on the ground, and will roll out in phases across the worldwide network throughout 2027.
Customers will begin seeing Affinity across the company's digital channels starting with the launch, followed over time by operational communications, facility signage, uniforms and other customer-facing and operational touchpoints.
The Universal Aviation brand traces to 1959, when Tom Evans, a former U.S. Air Force meteorologist, opened a weather forecasting service for business aviation at Love Field, Dallas. Greg Evans, his son, joined the company in 1978 and has led it for more than four decades.
