Rotortrade strengthens US avionics upgrades with Garmin appointment
Rotortrade MRO Latrobe now holds official Garmin dealership status, supporting certified avionics upgrades for helicopter operators in the United States.
The FAA Part 145 facility at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport provides certified installation and integration for Garmin cockpit modernisation programmes.

Rotortrade has appointed Rotortrade MRO Latrobe as an official Garmin dealer, expanding its avionics installation and integration capabilities in the United States.

Under the agreement, Rotortrade MRO Latrobe is authorised to provide certified installation, integration and technical support across Garmin’s avionics portfolio. The work includes cockpit modernisation programmes, glass cockpit upgrades, navigation and communication systems and integrated flight deck solutions for multiple helicopter types.

The facility operates under FAA Part 145 approval and performs OEM-supported installations from its base at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Pennsylvania.

Rotortrade says the dealership framework supports streamlined procurement, improved lead times and a structured pathway for operators seeking avionics upgrades that enhance safety, operational efficiency and aircraft value retention.

Customers can access avionics acquisition, integration and after-installation support through a single point of contact, reducing complexity across the upgrade lifecycle and helping minimise aircraft downtime.

Dan Mansfield, general manager at Rotortrade MRO Latrobe, says: “Becoming an official Garmin dealership significantly enhances our technical offering. Garmin's avionics solutions are widely recognised for reliability and innovation in cockpit modernisation. With certified in-house integration capability, we can provide operators with a seamless upgrade process, from specification to installation and ongoing support, under one roof.”
