APPy days as jet centre opens at Treasure Coast
In addition to serving international travellers, APP is seeing increased domestic business traffic as more operators seek efficient alternatives in the region. Business aviation in south Florida is on the up.
The newly remodelled FBO and restaurant space are beautiful.

APP Jet Center (APP) has opened its newly remodelled FBO facility at Treasure Coast International airport, reinforcing its role as the gateway to Florida's Treasure Coast and a premier destination for business aviation.

The renovated facility features upgraded passenger and crew amenities designed to deliver an elevated experience rooted in safety, efficiency and personalised service. The investment comes at a time when business aviation continues to grow, particularly across south Florida, where congestion at larger commercial airports often results in delays and ground stops, while executive airports like FPR are purpose-built to service business aviation travellers efficiently and conveniently.

Treasure Coast International Airport is uniquely positioned as both a gateway to this community and a strategic alternative to congested south Florida airports,” says Dan Harrow, CEO of APP Jet Center. “We've long been recognised as one of the most efficient and welcoming ports of entry for travellers arriving from the Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean. This newly remodelled FBO elevates the experience even further, providing a modern, comfortable environment that reflects our commitment to service, safety and operational excellence as aviation demand continues to grow.”

In addition to serving international travellers, APP is seeing increased domestic business traffic as more operators seek efficient alternatives in the region.

“Our airport is truly turning a corner. The newly remodelled FBO and restaurant space are absolutely beautiful and the new hangars and recent upgrades bring a fresh, welcoming feel to the entire airport,” remarks St. Lucie County commissioner Cathy Townsend. “It's exciting to see these improvements taking shape, and I'm genuinely looking forward to what the future holds as we continue building a first-class FBO experience for our community and visitors.”

“The recent investments made at APP Jet Center and throughout Treasure Coast International airport will be magnified many times over across St. Lucie County, creating very significant positive economic impacts for years to come,” adds Wes McCurry, president of the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County.

The grand opening marks another milestone in the continued development of Treasure Coast International and APP Jet Center's commitment to supporting the growth of business aviation in south Florida.
