NBAA draws 3,000 to forum season opener in Miami
Attendees in Florida engaged with exhibitors and witnessed more than 20 aircraft on static display from leading manufacturers.
Panels addressed operational challenges and policy priorities, while education and workforce development also featured prominently.

The National Business Aviation Association opened its 2026 regional forum season on February 25 at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, drawing more than 3,000 attendees and filling the exhibit floor with over 200 companies.

More than 20 aircraft were positioned on static display, representing manufacturers including Cirrus, Daher, Dassault, Honda, Leonardo, Piper and Textron.

NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen described the event as “a celebration of an industry that is evolving and innovating as fast as ever, in exciting and inspiring ways,” adding that the event “highlighted business aviation's importance not just in Florida, but across the U.S. and around the world.”

Local officials including Miami-Dade County COO Jimmy Morales and Commissioners Roberto Gonzalez and Oliver Gilbert joined Bolen on stage to outline the sector’s economic and community contribution.

NBAA’s next regional forum takes place on May 20 at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York.
