NBAA annual convention heads for New Orleans in 2028
NBAA plans to stage several events in the city before the convention, beginning with a Maintenance Conference in 2026.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will host the 2028 edition of the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in New Orleans. The event is scheduled for October 10–12, 2028, using the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

“We cannot wait to host NBAA-BACE in New Orleans, a city with a unique energy and vibe,” says Ed Bolen, president and CEO of NBAA. “NBAA's exhibitors, attendees, sponsors and other event partners have been eager to bring NBAA-BACE to New Orleans, a world-class location for the industry's most important event.”

NBAA has previously held events in the city, including the 2014 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC), which set an attendance record at the time with 2,600 participants. When the conference returned in 2025, more than 3,300 attendees took part.

Before the 2028 convention, NBAA plans to stage additional events in the city, starting with the Maintenance Conference in 2026 and the International Operators Conference in 2027.

“New Orleans is an incredibly welcoming host city, and its resurgence as a major event destination has been tremendous,” says Jo Damato, CAM, senior vice president, events and professional engagement at NBAA. “We are delighted to include it in NBAA's event calendar going forward.”

NBAA-BACE will take place in Las Vegas in 2026 and 2027 before moving to New Orleans in 2028. The show is scheduled to return to Las Vegas in 2029.
