StandardAero has announced the induction of the first two Gulfstream aircraft service events at its recently expanded service centre in Augusta, Georgia.
The firm held a grand opening ceremony in August of 2025 to celebrate the expansion of the company's aircraft and engine service centre at Augusta Regional airport. The build of the new 80,500 sq ft facility included a new aircraft maintenance hangar designed for super mid-size to large cabin aircraft, plus an expanded engine shop for the site's growing Honeywell HTF7000 heavy maintenance support.
“We take great pride in delivering on our commitments, and we are thrilled to have seen the first couple of Gulfstream aircraft enter our facility and be well on their way to delivery post-service from Augusta,” states Tony Brancato, president of StandardAero Business Aviation.
The Gulfstream service events include a GIV-SP undergoing regular inspection due list items, while another GIV-SP is receiving an airframe inspection and Starlink installation.
“We are extremely fortunate to have formed a Gulfstream specialty maintenance crew to add to the existing expertise of our site here in Augusta,” notes Chris Bodine, vice president and general manager of StandardAero AGS. “We are actively scheduling GIV and GV service events through 2026 and beyond, with additional model support coming soon.”
StandardAero offers CompleteCare support for Gulfstream operators across its network of Gulfstream specialty service centres in Augusta, Georgia, Springfield, Illinois and Van Nuys, California. The company also provides Gulfstream engine and APU support for Rolls-Royce Tay and BR710 and Honeywell HTF7000 engines and GTCP 36 APUs at various sites or on-wing through StandardAero's mobile service team.
