Piaggio designates IJSC as US authorised service centre
Expanded after-sales capability reinforces operator support in North America and underlines strategic growth in the United States.
The P.180 Avanti’s US support network has grown as IJSC becomes Piaggio Aerospace’s first authorised North American service centre since Baykar’s acquisition.

Piaggio Aerospace and Intercontinental Jet Service Corp (IJSC) have formalised an agreement designating IJSC as an authorised service centre in the United States.

The move represents the first such agreement in North America since Baykar’s acquisition of Piaggio Aerospace last July and forms part of a broader strategy to re-establish momentum in the US market.

One of the first steps in Piaggio Aerospace’s strategy is strengthening support for existing P.180 Avanti owners and operators across North America, helping them maximise aircraft performance while maintaining comfort and convenience on every flight.

“There is still significant potential in the P.180, and this is only the first step of many to enhance both the aircraft and the after-sales service,” says Giovanni Tomassini, CEO of Piaggio Aerospace.

IJSC operates from Tulsa International Airport and provides maintenance services for general aviation aircraft throughout the south-central United States. The company has worked with Piaggio for more than a decade.
