Bombardier has completed the acquisition of Velocity Maintenance Solutions, a U.S.-based aircraft MRO, through its subsidiary Learjet. The purchase extends Bombardier’s services network and advances its aftermarket growth strategy.

Velocity Maintenance Solutions operates from a 35,000 sq ft hangar at New Castle Airport in Wilmington, Delaware and deploys 14 mobile repair trucks across the United States. The added infrastructure increases Bombardier’s proximity to operators and broadens available maintenance and support options.

Velocity Maintenance Solutions' capabilities and customer-focused culture make it an excellent fit for Bombardier. We are thrilled to welcome its talented team and support it as it continues to provide exceptional service to its clients,” says Paul Sislian, executive vice president, aircraft sales and Bombardier aftermarket services at Bombardier. “This acquisition is part of our commitment to continually elevate our service standards, a mindset that has brought us number one rankings in industry surveys for two consecutive years.”
