Alpha MX, a provider of rapid-response AOG and business aviation maintenance services across the Greater New York and New Jersey region, is opening its second operational base at Morristown Municipal airport. The expansion marks another milestone in the company’s continued growth following its acquisition by Principal Aviation in October last year.

The new MMU location strengthens Alpha MX’s ability to support both existing customers and new operators throughout the region, while expanding service offerings to include light scheduled inspections and hangar-based maintenance. With access to two private hangars at Morristown, Alpha MX can now perform a broader range of scheduled maintenance alongside its core AOG and mobile support services.

Since the acquisition, Alpha MX has continued to scale its team and capabilities. The company has grown its staff to 10, significantly increasing response capacity across the New York and New Jersey area while maintaining its focus on speed, safety and technical precision.

The Morristown expansion also positions Alpha MX as the only maintenance provider based at MMU, offering operators on-field access to experienced technicians, tooling and hangar space without relying on transient support.

“Morristown was the natural fit for our next location,” comments Manny Malandrenias, founder and partner at Alpha MX. “This new location allows us to provide additional services to new and existing customers. Having hangar space at MMU enables us to support scheduled maintenance while still responding quickly to aircraft requiring immediate attention.”

Alpha MX remains headquartered at Teterboro airport, where it operates a growing AOG-focused team and mobile fleet. The addition of Morristown further enhances Alpha’s regional coverage and reinforces its long-term plan to scale maintenance capabilities while preserving the responsiveness and communication standards operators expect.
