The City of Sugar Land has chosen Avfuel to supply fuel to Sugar Land Regional Airport and GlobalSelect as the region prepares for a surge in visitors.
GlobalSelect provides 85,000 sq ft of hangar space and more than 575,000 sq ft of ramp space.

Avfuel has partnered with the City of Sugar Land in Texas to provide fuel to Sugar Land Regional Airport and its FBO, GlobalSelect. The partnership took effect on 1 February 2026 and supports preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026, with Sugar Land serving as an official host city supporter.
