Avfuel has partnered with the City of Sugar Land in Texas to provide fuel to Sugar Land Regional Airport and its FBO, GlobalSelect. The partnership took effect on 1 February 2026 and supports preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026, with Sugar Land serving as an official host city supporter.
Over 500,000 visitors are expected in the region during the football event, and the partnership aims to ensure a seamless experience for both domestic and international travellers.

Located less than 25 miles from downtown Houston, Sugar Land Regional offers access to the metropolitan area. GlobalSelect provides VIP service and amenities, including 85,000 sq ft of hangar space, more than 575,000 sq ft of ramp space and lounges for passengers and crew.
