Yingling Aviation has completed its first 192 month inspection on a Gulfstream G550, the largest project in its history. The Wichita, Kansas-based company carried out a full heavy maintenance inspection, followed by an extensive interior and avionics refurbishment.
The scope of work included full soft goods replacement, veneer refurbishment and avionics upgrades, modernising the aircraft for the customer.
All stakeholders, including the broker, director of maintenance and aircraft principal, expressed high satisfaction with the outcome.
“This project demanded an exceptional level of communication, teamwork and technical expertise,” says Vinnie Venditto, executive vice president and general manager. “Our team truly came together and demonstrated the depth of talent and experience we have at Yingling. Completing a project of this scale represents a major achievement for our organisation.”
The work was performed at Yingling’s Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport facility and further strengthens its position in large cabin maintenance and interior refurbishment.
