Tecnam Aircraft is evolving its commercial footprint in India. Effective immediately, the company will transition from a dealership network to a direct-to-factory relationship for all sales, service and spare parts support across the region.

As part of this restructuring, the formal dealership agreement with Air Taxi and its affiliated companies Art Aviation and Amanra FZC, has concluded. Tecnam wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Captain Varun Suhag, founder of Air Taxi. Captain Suhag has been a passionate advocate for general aviation in India and played a vital role in introducing the Tecnam brand to the Indian market.

The Indian aviation sector is currently experiencing unprecedented expansion. To meet the specific demands of this maturing market, Tecnam has decided that a direct management model is essential.

Giovani Pascale Langer, managing director of Tecnam, comments on the strategic shift: “India is a key market that demands our highest level of attention. By establishing a direct connection between our headquarters and the Indian operators, we are positioning Tecnam to better support the steady growth of major flight schools and airliners in the region. Our institutional partners and commercial operators require immediate, unfiltered access to our support and sales teams to maintain their operational tempo. This direct structure allows us to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them as they expand their fleets.”

This direct-to-factory model guarantees: direct access – a closer relationship between Indian operators and the Tecnam manufacturing and engineering teams in Italy; streamlined support – faster processing for spare parts, warranty claims and technical assistance; and unified sales – a single, authoritative channel for acquiring the complete range of Tecnam aircraft, including the P2006T, P2012 Traveller, P-Mentor, P2008JC and P2010.

To personally welcome its customers into this new direct relationship, Tecnam is pleased to announce its participation in Wings India at Hyderabad Begumpet airport from 28-31 January 2026. Effective immediately, all inquiries regarding aircraft sales, support and parts for India should be directed to Tecnam's Italian headquarters.
