Gama broadens Part 145 maintenance scope
The extension of its Learjet capability aligns with Gama Aviation's measured approach to expanding its approved maintenance scope, driven by demand and a focus on safety, compliance and operational integrity.
The work will be carried out in Bournemouth, UK.

Gama Aviation has secured UK CAA approval to extend its Part 145 maintenance scope to include Learjet 45 and Learjet 60 aircraft, further strengthening its UK-based business aviation MRO capability.

The approval authorises Gama to deliver line and base maintenance for Learjet 45 aircraft, including both 40 and 45 variants, and base maintenance for Learjet 60 aircraft from its Bournemouth MRO facility. This provides Learjet operators, owners and aircraft management companies with an additional UK-based maintenance option, delivered under established engineering governance and regulatory oversight.

Paul Kinch, managing director MRO and accountable manager UK Part 145 at Gama Aviation, says: “This UK CAA approval represents a further step forward in the development of our MRO capability. It reflects the experience of our engineering teams, the robustness of our compliance framework and our continued investment in building sustainable, trusted maintenance support for business aviation operators.”

The extension of its Learjet capability aligns with Gama Aviation's measured approach to expanding its approved maintenance scope, driven by operator demand and a continued focus on safety, compliance and operational integrity.

Gama Aviation delivers MRO services across a UK network of facilities, supporting a wide range of business aviation and rotary aircraft under UK CAA Part 145 approval, alongside additional international approvals held across the organisation.
