Quentin Koch has joined Slate Aviation as chief operating officer (COO), reporting directly to the board of directors. He will lead operational strategy and execution as the company, one of the largest operators of VIP Bombardier CRJ and Challenger 850 aircraft in the US, prepares for significant growth in 2026.
Koch brings extensive aviation leadership experience, having most recently served as president and CEO of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and Activities, where he oversaw multi-base operations and 40 hotels, driving performance, safety and service excellence across a complex operating environment.
As COO, Koch will focus on scaling Slate Aviation’s operations to support its 2026 growth plan, which includes adding 10 aircraft to the company’s fleet to serve on-demand charter, fractional and shuttle clients, as well as continuing to expand its MRO and interior completion divisions.

Slate Aviation is the new marketing name of Tri State Charter, which operates more than 3,500 flights annually and employs more than 100 employees nationwide.
