Avfuel is welcoming Sky X as the newest member of its branded FBO network upon the facility's highly-anticipated grand opening in January 2026.

Sky X is a full-service FBO located at Hammond Northshore Regional airport in Hammond, Louisiana, that promises to provide a luxury aviation experience to the Greater Gulf Region. Once open, the facility will serve as a one-stop solution for aircraft owners and operators, providing aircraft maintenance, avionics, charter services, aircraft management and sales.

The two-phase project is slated for final completion in Spring 2026. Phase one comprises a 10,000 sq ft FBO and a 30,000 sq ft hangar to open in January, while phase two will include two additional 30,000 sq ft hangars.

Upon completion, Sky X will boast 245,000 sq ft of combined hangar and ramp space, providing secure, premium storage for both long-term tenants and transient aircraft. Backed by a dedicated team, Sky X will deliver efficient line service, on-site maintenance and repair services, and top-tier fuelling, ensuring a seamless experience for every guest.

The beautiful facility will feature thoughtfully-designed spaces for pilots, passengers and crew. Blending modern sophistication with elevated comfort, guests will enjoy a luxury lounge area, fully-equipped conference room with seating for 14, movie theatre, recreation area with pool table, private showers and a fully-stocked bar offering complimentary drinks.
