ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Cirrus Aviation Services, a private aircraft operator in the US, has made three senior leadership appointments as the company continues to scale its operations and expand nationally. Tami Beutel has been named vice president of charter sales and flight support, Brian Harlan has been appointed director of safety and Alexandria Hurley joins as head of public relations and communications.
These strategic hires follow a period of significant momentum for Cirrus Aviation, including its expansion into the Dallas, Texas market earlier this year and the recent launch of Theos, the company's members-only by-the-seat platform, which curates high-calibre travel and lifestyle experiences with a strong focus on the Las Vegas region.
“As Cirrus Aviation continues to grow beyond our home market and introduce new offerings like Theos, it's critical that we invest in leaders who strengthen our charter operations, communications strategy and safety culture,” says Eric Grilly, president of Cirrus Aviation Services. “Tami, Alexandria and Brian each bring deep expertise and a clear understanding of what it takes to support disciplined growth while maintaining the standards our clients expect.”
Tami Beutel, vice president of charter sales and flight support, brings nearly 30 years of aviation experience spanning military operations, aerial interdiction, charter services, client support and operational standardisation. Her military background helped shape a disciplined leadership style and ignited a lifelong passion for aviation. A qualified helicopter pilot, Beutel brings hands-on operational knowledge and a client-focused approach as Cirrus Aviation continues to expand its charter operations and support growing demand across new and existing markets.
Harlan, director of safety, brings more than 13 years of experience across Part 135 and Part 145 operations, with deep expertise in safety management systems, regulatory compliance, aircraft onboarding, training administration and technical publications. For the past decade, Harlan has led safety and compliance departments, developing proactive systems that strengthen operational standards and reinforce a strong safety culture. He is a certified NBAA safety manager, a Wyvern safety leader and an ARGUS aviation lead auditor, underscoring his commitment to industry-leading best practices.
Hurley, head of public relations and communications, is an award-winning communications professional with more than a decade of experience leading public relations, public affairs and crisis communications across the hospitality, travel, corporate and high-end consumer sectors. She has partnered with prominent brands and executives on national campaigns and high-stakes issues, shaping narratives with clarity, consistency and strategic intent. Hurley holds a Master's degree in Strategic Public Relations and Public Affairs from The George Washington University and brings a modern, integrated approach to communications, unifying earned media, internal communications and public affairs to support Cirrus Aviation's continued growth, market expansion and brand alignment.
