Alpha Aircraft Services, a provider of rapid-response AOG and light scheduled maintenance for business jets across the Greater New York and New Jersey area, has been acquired through a partnership between its management team and a new ownership group. The company will now operate as Alpha MX (Alpha).
Alpha continues to be led by founder Manny Malandrenias, alongside new partners Principal Aviation, a US charter brokerage, and former CEO of Ventura Air Services Sam Wolf. Together, the ownership team brings experience in aircraft maintenance, operations and charter management, ensuring Alpha remains focused on rapid-response AOG support, expert communication and customer service.
Under new ownership, Alpha MX has already tripled its Teterboro-based AOG team, significantly enhancing response capability throughout the region. The company plans to continue increasing staffing by year-end and expand into additional major US markets in 2026, strengthening both unscheduled and scheduled maintenance capacity. In addition, Alpha has doubled its mobile fleet and increased its in-house tooling.
“Since the acquisition, Alpha has expanded its Teterboro-based team of seasoned AOG technicians, with even more hires on the way in time for the holiday rush,” says Malandrenias. “We understand that every minute an aircraft is on the ground means lost revenue and delayed missions for our customers. That's why we're investing heavily in our people, technology and tooling to provide the fastest, most reliable AOG support across Teterboro and the greater New York and New Jersey area airports.”
Alpha MX remains dedicated to providing industry-leading AOG unscheduled maintenance services while scaling scheduled maintenance capabilities. The company’s mission is to combine speed, safety and precision to return aircraft to service quickly and reliably, recognising that every mission it supports is critical in both timing and purpose.
