Alex Jet Aviation Services has obtained its A6-reg AOC from the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), granting it approval to perform global commercial air transport passenger operations from the UAE. The approval is a significant development for the group as it expands its premium private aviation activities through Falcon Luxe.
With this certification, Alex Jet Aviation Services is now approved to operate executive charter flights on behalf of fellow Alex Group company Falcon Luxe from its principal base at Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai World Central. The operator has also received approval as a CAMO, ensuring adherence to the highest international safety and regulatory standards.
The first aircraft to enter commercial service under the new approval is a Global Express XRS, registered as A6-AFC. According to the group’s expansion strategy, six additional aircraft are scheduled to join the fleet by early 2026. By the end of that year, the total fleet is expected to reach 15 aircraft, positioning Falcon Luxe as one of the fastest-growing private aviation providers in the region.
Maintenance support for the expanding fleet will be provided by Falcon Technic, the group’s GCAA-approved Part 145 MRO along with its Part 21J Design Organisation, ensuring full line and base maintenance capability and uninterrupted operational reliability.
Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, founder and chairman of Alex Group Investment, states that the approval represents a defining step for the group’s aviation ambitions. “Obtaining the A6 registration is a significant achievement for us. It is the result of rigorous preparation, extensive technical work and the collective effort of our teams across all divisions. This approval demonstrates our ability to meet the highest regulatory standards in the UAE and positions us as a capable and fully compliant operator in one of the world’s most demanding aviation markets.” The UAE AOC joins the operator’s existing San Marino AOC.
