Aloft builds expertise in MAX 8 completions
The second jet will arrive at Aloft’s Delaware facility in 2026 for range-extending fuel system installation and high-end interior completion.

Aloft AeroArchitects has secured another contract to complete a VVIP interior on a Boeing Business Jet MAX 8, the second to be awarded to the company this year.

The work will take place at Aloft’s hangar facility in Georgetown, Delaware. The green aircraft is set to arrive in mid-2026. It will first receive installation of the Aloft auxiliary fuel system in the forward and aft cargo compartments. The system is designed to extend the jet’s range by up to 50 per cent.

The aircraft will also be fitted with advanced systems for comfort, connectivity and functionality. These will be integrated and certified under Aloft’s FAA-authorised Organization Designation Authorization.

“This project for an Asia-based customer who has previously operated three BBJs speaks to the value Aloft creates,” says Matt Hill, vice president of sales at Aloft. “The VVIP quality expectation is a minimum standard and we deliver at the highest level.”

Hill adds: “We are committed to innovation and excellence in cabin design and passenger experience. Each project is a fully integrated ecosystem with future upgrade potential built in.”
