Cv International adds modular maintenance stands
TailStand and StarBridge have been designed to improve technician safety, protect aircraft surfaces and streamline maintenance for business jet MRO shops.

Cv International has added two new platforms to its Maintainer series: the TailStand tail access system and the StarBridge cantilevered fuselage link.

The modular stands are built for commercial MRO shops working on business jets such as the Gulfstream and Falcon 900 series, with tail heights between 24 and 30 feet. They are compatible with multiple airframe types and are engineered to support safe, repeatable access to upper fuselage and empennage areas.

The TailStand and StarBridge were designed to eliminate the need for technicians to stand on aircraft surfaces. Elevated decks and engineered load paths help preserve exterior finishes and reduce FOD risk. The StarBridge’s cantilevered over‑wing access allows precise positioning for antenna and cable work such as Starlink installation.

Other features include anti-slip DimpleDecks, modular trays, powered workstations, OSHA-informed fall protection, and connectivity for laptop testing and compressed air.

“TailStand and StarBridge reduce risk to both aircraft finish and technicians while dramatically improving turnaround times,” says Cv International CEO Dan Warden.

The lightweight platforms are easily repositioned by a single operator and can speed aircraft changeovers, reduce hangar footprint and support procedure standardisation. Factory demos, installation support and customisation options are available.
