Jetex has strengthened its long-standing partnership with the World Economic Forum, furthering its engagement as the Forum's first and only private aviation partner. During the Annual Meetings of the Global Future Councils and Cybersecurity in Dubai, Adel Mardini, founder and CEO of Jetex and Alexandre Raffoul, head of global partner development and regional business strategy at the World Economic Forum, formalised the enhanced collaboration, marking Jetex's elevation to the role of associate partner.
“Global private aviation is a USD 40 billion industry that supports over a million jobs worldwide, yet it is often underestimated by the international community,” says Adel Mardini, founder and CEO of Jetex. “We are proud to continue our partnership with the World Economic Forum at an even higher level. This strengthened collaboration allows Jetex to advocate for seamless global connectivity while working closely with our public and private partners toward cleaner, technologically advanced and more efficient air travel,” adds Mardini.
In alignment with the Forum's mission to improve the state of the world, the expanded partnership brings Jetex closer to the core programmes of the Centre for Nature and Climate, where the Airports of Tomorrow initiative is shaping the future of sustainable aviation and reducing environmental impact. The upgrade enables deeper representation across Forum touchpoints, with Jetex continuing to play an active role in advancing the aviation sustainability agenda, accelerating ground operations decarbonisation, scaling up sustainable aviation fuel adoption and developing infrastructure for advanced air mobility.
