Raisbeck and CiES deliver modern fuel quantity system for King Air
The companies have extended their partnership to develop a King Air fuel quantity upgrade using magneto-resistive sensing technology.
The first King Air fuel quantity kits are expected to ship in Q2 2026.

Raisbeck Engineering and CiES have partnered to develop a modern, reliable fuel quantity indication system (FQIS) for Beechcraft King Air operators. Combining CiES’s magneto-resistive sensing technology with Raisbeck’s customer support network, the King Air upgrade follows the companies’ collaboration on improved fuel quantity probes for the Cessna Caravan, which are scheduled for sales in early 2025.

“King Air operators expect mission-ready reliability, and this programme delivers exactly that,” says Gregory Davis, president of Raisbeck Engineering. “CiES’s sensing technology and our customer-care capabilities are a powerful combination. We’ve built a trust-based partnership that translates directly into quality, speed and support for our customers.”

Supplemental type certificate (STC) approval is targeted for Q4 2025, with first kit deliveries planned for Q2 2026. The system aims to deliver precise, stable fuel readings across all conditions while reducing maintenance requirements and false fault alerts.

“Raisbeck understands product development, integration and the King Air market like few others,” adds Scott Philiben, president of CiES. “Pairing our magneto-resistive fuel sensing with Raisbeck’s customer support ensures King Air operators get a best-in-class solution.”
