Boeing unveils 747-8 VIP for premium long-haul travel
The new Boeing 747-8 VIP offers a turnkey service with custom interiors, concierge support and global in-service maintenance, accommodating up to 75 passengers on nonstop flights around the world.
Nearly 50 747-8s are in service today, including for business and government travel.

Customers seeking a premium option for long-haul private travel can now choose the newest model of the Boeing 747 family with a modern VIP interior. Boeing’s 747-8 VIP turnkey offering provides a full-spectrum concierge service that includes aircraft acquisition, customised cabin interior design and build, delivery and comprehensive in-service support.

The 747-8 VIP is the world’s largest VIP aircraft, featuring nearly 5,000 square feet of premium cabin space. The interior can be designed and completed under the supervision of a dedicated team via a single Boeing contract. The aircraft can carry 75 passengers and has a range of 8,500nm, offering nonstop connections from New York to Bangkok and Dubai to LA.

“The 747-8 continues to serve as a premier VIP and head of state aircraft, and discerning customers are interested in continuing this tradition of excellence in private air travel,” says Joe Benson, president of Boeing Business Jets. “We're thrilled to continue this legacy with the Boeing-backed 747-8 VIP, delivering a personalised and exceptional flying experience.”

Nearly 50 747-8s are in service today, including those for business and government travel. The 747-8 Intercontinental incorporates advanced technologies from the 787 Dreamliner, reducing noise, lowering fuel consumption and simplifying maintenance compared with earlier 747 models. Boeing’s global service network provides parts, engineering and maintenance support to ensure reliable operation of 747-8 VIP aircraft for decades.

Boeing Business Jets is Boeing’s VIP jet division, offering high-performance aircraft that can be customised for private, business or governmental use.
