Web Manuals reports that demand for digital solutions across business aviation has continued to grow since the pandemic. In 2020, the grounding of flights prompted greater adoption of digital compliance platforms, and the company’s customer base increased by more than one-third. Since then, it has recorded a 306% rise in customers compared with the start of 2020.
“This growth proves that the digital shift during COVID was not just a short-term response but has permanently changed how aviation organisations manage manuals,” says Justin Raymond, director of operations Americas at Web Manuals. “Business aviation is certainly leading this charge, with our customers in this segment outnumbering commercial airlines by almost four to one.”
“It was compliance linking that initially drove this uptake,” he adds. “It meant that changes in regulations were quickly identified and traced across all of an organisation's documentation, ensuring traceability, accountability and efficiency in managing regulatory compliance. Now, our integration of AI technology further streamlines how documentation is accessed and analysed, giving operators faster access to insights and compliance requirements.”
As of October 1, 2025, Web Manuals supports 409 business aviation operators, including corporate jet, mission and medical, eVTOL and helicopter operators. Its wider customer community of 751 also spans MRO, cargo, training, OEMs, consultancy and ground services.
The company is introducing a new onboarding package to help teams adopt Amelia Co-Author, its AI-powered editing tool for aviation documentation. New customers who sign up through to December 31, 2025, will receive 10 million free tokens with their first licence, plus five million for each additional licence purchased. The package also includes a 50% first-year discount.
“On average, a single request consumes around 7,000 tokens,” says Web Manuals’ CTO Richard Sandström. “10 million tokens allow for thousands of AI-assisted edits, rewrites or table generations. It's an easy way for teams to explore what's possible without overcommitting from day one.”
Amelia Co-Author, part of the Amelia AI suite, assists editors and compliance professionals in writing, rephrasing and structuring regulatory content. “Alongside Amelia AI Document Search, which enables crew and pilots to retrieve information using natural language, it reflects our aim to support teams across all stages of the document lifecycle,” adds Sandström. “Together, these tools are helping define the future of how aviation manuals are authored, used and managed.”
