SEA Prime sees steady growth at Milan’s business airports
Movements rose by three per cent in the first half of 2025 as Milano Prime strengthened its role at Linate and Malpensa, with expansion under way ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

2025 continues to be a year of growth for SEA Prime, a SEA Group company and manager of the business and general aviation infrastructure at Milan’s Linate and Malpensa airports under the Milano Prime brand.

In the first half of the year, SEA Prime recorded approximately 17,000 movements, a 3 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2024, along with a 4 per cent rise in tonnage. The results, supported by a positive trend in the second half of the year, underline the appeal of Milan and the Italian market for business aviation, which ranks as the third largest in Europe.

Confirming the central role of Linate and Malpensa as Milan’s gateways, SEA Prime handled more than 1,000 movements during Milan Fashion Week (23–29 September). This activity further reinforces Milano Prime’s position as a strategic hub for major international events and a key infrastructure in the European business aviation landscape.

“We are very proud of the results achieved so far and continue to look forward to future developments with enthusiasm, primarily to the expansion of the Linate Prime Terminal with 2,400 square metres dedicated to new lounges for welcoming passengers and crews, which will prepare us for the major events of 2026, including the much-awaited Winter Olympics,” says Chiara Dorigotti, CEO of SEA Prime.

SEA Prime oversaw 34,400 business aviation movements in 2024 across its two terminals, 11 hangars and dedicated lounges and VIP facilities.
