Diamond delivers second SurveyStar to Opegieka
This marks a significant expansion of Opegieka’s airborne survey capabilities following the delivery of their first DA62 MPP SurveyStar just one year ago.
Opegieka liked its first SurveyStar so much it bought another one.

Diamond Aircraft has delivered a second DA62 MPP SurveyStar to Opegieka, a geospatial intelligence company based in Poland. This marks a significant expansion of Opegieka’s airborne survey capabilities, following the delivery of their first DA62 MPP SurveyStar just one year ago.

Opegieka has rapidly expanded its aerial survey operations, leveraging the DA62 MPP’s low operating costs, environmental efficiency and advanced payload integration. The addition of the second aircraft will enable the company to further enhance its data acquisition capacity across Europe and beyond.

“The DA62 MPP SurveyStar meets our expectations,” says president Florian Romanowski. “Its performance, flexibility and the support from Diamond Aircraft have been instrumental in delivering high-quality geospatial data to our clients. We are excited to take the next step in our growth with this second aircraft.”

The DA62 MPP (Multi-Purpose Platform) SurveyStar is Diamond’s flagship in airborne data acquisition, designed for high-end remote sensing missions. Equipped with the latest sensors and mission equipment, the aircraft offers unmatched efficiency, endurance and versatility for geospatial applications.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Opegieka,” says Mario Spiegel, head of sales, special mission aircraft. “Its decision to add a second DA62 MPP SurveyStar to its fleet within such a short timeframe is a testament to the aircraft’s performance and reliability in demanding survey operations.”
