IBAC and Nimbl strengthen cooperation with tools for IS-BAO ops
Nimbl has extended its support for IS-BAO operators by offering a free checklist and editable manual that aims to simplify compliance and improve safety outcomes.
The GCOM template is offered to operators pursuing or maintaining IS-BAO certification as a free resource.

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and Nimbl strengthened their partnership to support IS-BAO operators through expanded resources.

The agreement built on an established collaboration that has provided operators pursuing, planning to pursue or that have already achieved IS-BAO certification with a free editable General Company Operations Manual (GCOM).

To further simplify compliance, Nimbl introduced a free checklist that outlines what operators need before working on the template. It included considerations and questions to guide flight departments in tailoring the manual to their operation, making the process more efficient and delivering higher-quality documentation.

“Editing the GCOM can be frustrating and time-consuming when operators don't have all the information at hand,” says Nimbl CEO Mark Baier. “The checklist was created by our safety and compliance experts to make the entire process more efficient for operators in order to deliver a better result.”

Nimbl also provides its own Company Operations Manual (COM) aligned with IS-BAO standards, offering an alternative for operators who prefer to avoid managing documentation themselves. The checklist and wider resources can be accessed on the Nimbl website.
