Hongkong Jet returns ACJ318 to service after long grounding
After undergoing inspections and resolving engine problems linked to long-term storage, the aircraft went on to complete missions reliably with no AOG issues.
The ACJ platform’s resilience enabled a return to factory-level standards after prolonged storage.

Hongkong Jet has returned an ACJ318 to service after an extended grounding. The project demonstrated the company’s organisational capability and its collaboration with Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ).

The aircraft required extensive work after long-term storage with overdue inspections, engine malfunctions and component failures. Hongkong Jet’s CAMO department developed a restoration plan, coordinated on-site repairs, oversaw troubleshooting, arranged spare parts supply and liaised closely with the ACJ team across time zones.

The aircraft has shown strong reliability since resumption, completing all flight missions without AOG events. The client has recognised its performance.

The ACJ platform is built on commercial aircraft designs and offers environmental adaptability, structural resilience and system redundancy, which allowed restoration to factory-level performance through standard recovery procedures.

Hongkong Jet continues to work with ACJ and global partners to provide round-the-clock airworthiness management services, aimed at enhancing safety and efficiency for business jet clients worldwide.
