5X5 believes that safer pilots deserve lower premiums.

The Piper M-Class Owners & Pilots Association (PMOPA) is pleased to introduce 5X5 Aviation Insurance as a preferred insurance partner, bringing members exclusive discounts on aircraft insurance premiums.

As part of this partnership, PMOPA members will receive a five per cent discount for belonging to the association. Members who actively participate in PMOPA's Master Aviator Program safety initiative can qualify for additional discounts up to 20 per cent, rewarding their commitment to safety with meaningful savings. As part of this partnership, PMOPA and 5X5 will collaborate on underwriting requirements, safety and operational best practices so that insurance requirements align with the way PMOPA members operate their aircraft.

5X5, now authorised to write aircraft insurance policies in Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Alabama and Virginia, and quickly expanding nationwide, is focused on offering pilots and aircraft owners a streamlined, transparent and cost-effective insurance experience.

“At 5X5, we believe that safer pilots deserve lower premiums,” says Troy Kopischke, CEO of 5X5 Aviation Insurance. “Partnering with PMOPA allows us to reward a community of pilots who are committed to ongoing training and engaging in proven safety programmes. It's a perfect fit with our mission to make aircraft insurance smarter, more affordable and more pilot-friendly.”

Mike Nichols, PMOPA's CEO, welcomes the collaboration: “Partnering with 5X5 as a preferred insurance partner is another great example of the value of PMOPA membership. Not only do members have access to top-notch resources and a vibrant community, but now they can also save significantly on their insurance by participating in our safety programmes. It's a win-win for our members' safety and their bottom line.”
