Leon integrates MCP server to support AI-enabled flight operations
The integration of the Model Context Protocol acts as a foundation for AI-powered features that support automation, efficiency and real-time decision-making.
The server will act as a foundation for embedding AI securely throughout the company's operations.

Leon Software has implemented a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, making its scheduling and operations system one of the first aviation platforms to open to artificial intelligence.

The MCP integration allows AI-driven solutions to be embedded in Leon’s platform, enabling decision-making support, process optimisation and real-time operational assistance.

“With the introduction of our MCP server, Leon is becoming ready for the agent-driven future of IT systems,” says Paweł Szmagaj, CTO at Leon Software. “This is not about following hype, but about building a solid technological foundation that allows AI agents to operate securely and effectively within aviation operations.”

Leon says MCP creates opportunities for new AI-supported integrations across crew planning, compliance monitoring, operational analytics and customer communications. The company sees the step as advancing adaptive, AI-enhanced aviation systems that complement human expertise in delivering efficient operations.
