Class A Insurance and the Citation Jet Pilots (CJP) Association have entered into a collaboration that puts safety at the centre of aviation insurance. In a first for the industry, Class A will reward pilots' commitment to safety with enhanced insurance benefits, free CJP memberships for new participants and access to cutting-edge tools like its Virtual Flight Department.
Through this collaboration, CJP members will receive exclusive benefits from Class A, including: complimentary CJP memberships for new members, helping expand the association's safety-first community; tailored insurance coverage and benefits to CJP members; enhanced coverage for CJP Gold members; access to Virtual Flight Department tools and tailored training options, offering continuous risk assessment, proactive safety alerts and pilot-focused training; and a bursary for current CJP members to participate in the CJP-FOQA programme.
“From the moment we engaged with the Citation Jet Pilots Association, we were struck by its deep and genuine commitment to safety,” says Mark Haidar, founder and CEO of Class A Insurance. “At Class A, our philosophy is centred on empowering pilots with technology, training and proactive support that make safer skies possible. By aligning with CJP, we can reward safety-minded pilots with tangible benefits and the confidence they deserve.”
“Class A's approach to safety is refreshingly innovative and perfectly aligned with CJP's vision,” adds Rob Balzano, CEO of Citation Jet Pilots Association. “Our members will not only gain enhanced insurance benefits, but also access to tools that improve daily flying, training and long-term insurability. This collaboration truly raises the bar for how aviation safety is supported.”
The initiative will formally launch at CJP's 2025 National Convention in San Antonio, where Class A, as a Platinum sponsor, will showcase its technology and enhanced offerings available to CJP members.
