Ropp takes head of sales role at OGaraJets
The experienced aviation executive was appointed after a career spanning four decades and a career transition supported by company veteran Wayne Starling.
Ropp started his aviation career washing aircraft before moving into leadership positions at global companies.

OGaraJets has appointed Rich Ropp as its new head of sales. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the business aircraft acquisitions and sales company says he will guide the sales team in delivering results and strengthening client partnerships.

Ropp has nearly 40 years of experience in business aviation, including senior roles at Million Air, Jet Aviation, Jet Linx, JSSI and Priester Aviation. He began his career washing and cleaning aircraft before moving into leadership positions.

He will work alongside industry veteran Wayne Starling, who has played a key role in developing OGaraJets’ sales culture and strategy. Starling will support the transition to ensure a smooth handover of leadership responsibilities.

“Rich's experience and leadership align perfectly with the values and direction of OGaraJets,” says president and CEO Johnny Foster. “He brings both the knowledge and the heart to lead our team and clients forward, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome him.”

Ropp adds: “I'm humbled to join OGaraJets at such an exciting time. The opportunity to work alongside this talented team, serve our clients and carry forward a culture of integrity and trust is a true privilege.”

Beyond his professional career, Ropp has contributed to the aviation community through leadership roles with the Greater St. Louis Business Aviation Association, Wings of Hope and mission work.
