Sheltair gains Wingman certification across 15 sites
The FBO chain's certification across 15 sites was confirmed after an in-depth evaluation of its safety culture, operational standards and risk management processes.
The accreditation confirmed Sheltair as the largest certified FBO network under the Wyvern Wingman programme.

Sheltair has achieved certification as a Wyvern Wingman FBO, strengthening its reputation for safety and service in the aviation sector. With 15 locations now certified, Sheltair represents the largest network of fixed base operators to hold Wingman status.

The recognition assures operators and customers that Sheltair meets Wyvern’s strict safety, service and operational requirements.

“Achieving Wyvern Wingman certification reflects our commitment to maintaining the highest safety protocols,” says Bobby Cavetti, director of training and safety at Sheltair. “Every member of our team is devoted to fostering a culture of safety and quality service, and this accreditation underscores our continuous efforts to exceed industry standards.”

Wyvern’s standard is recognised globally as a safety framework, allowing customers to assess providers against best practices.

“Through leadership, dedication and a strong safety-first mindset, Sheltair has proven itself a standout in the FBO industry,” adds Andy Day, Wyvern senior vice president, operations. “We are thrilled to recognise its success and welcome it into the Wyvern Wingman FBO community.”
