flyExclusive has added its first Cessna Citation XLS Gen2 business jet to the company’s operating certificate in Kinston, North Carolina.

“Our fleet refresh remains an important focus for us,” says Jim Segrave, founder, chairman and CEO of flyExclusive. “Adding the XLS Gen2 gives our customers a well-balanced aircraft option and strengthens our mid-jet capabilities.”

The FAA-certificated air carrier provides on-demand charter, jet club and fractional ownership services. Its fleet renewal strategy has included phasing out older aircraft while concentrating on models such as the Citation CJ3+, XLS and Challenger. These aircraft are supported by in-house maintenance and repair facilities that aim to improve availability and streamline operations.

Built in the US by Textron Aviation, the Citation XLS Gen2 is an update of the world’s best-selling midsize jet. It offers a quieter and brighter cabin with redesigned seating, improved lighting and modern connectivity while maintaining the original XLS strengths of dependable performance, efficient operating costs and strong short-field capability.
